We practice Integrative Medicine. We believe there is a place for both traditional western medicine along with some ancient eastern medicine and holistic modalities. Furthermore, we do refer several of our clients to other veterinary specialties when we feel our treatments are not appropriate. There are also times we need confirmation or clarification of a diagnosis, which requires a radiograph or ultrasound prior to any treatments or adjustment.
No modality, whether it is western, eastern, or holistic, has an appropriate treatment for every medical issue. It is our philosophy to provide you with the best we can, whether it is a treatment we can provide or a referral to another practice.

My then 2-year-old cat, Luna, had repeatedly been on antibiotics for sinus infections. She reached the point where she was taking weeks of antibiotics four times a year! Eventually, she could no longer tolerate the antibiotics, and I could tell she was fading and might die soon. This Veterinarian legit brought my dog back to life after she was found to have severe iron deficiency - with her levels SO bad she wasn't sure how she was still alive!!! So bad that it was recommended she have a blood transfusion and be kept for a 3-4 day hospital stay per another holistic veterinarian I had previously used. But I didn't feel comfortable with that option as I felt it would be more traumatizing for her, invasive, non-curative and also ridiculously expensive. Dr. Patricia works with animals holistically, which many don't understand or value. She was able to share some of the challenges our senior rescue dog was experiencing, both physically and emotionally, through scanning. Shasta is much better now, though there are some long-haul issues. Have an open mind and give your animals the care they deserve. Dr. Patricia is a brilliant woman, with knowledge far surpassing any vet we've ever used. I did have to keep an open mind, however, I was amazed at her instinctual findings and the plethora of science-backed information she shared.
